Kathrine J. Skinner

Kathrine "Kate"J. Skinner was taken home to heaven on Friday, December 21, 2012. She was 29.

Born in Flemington, NJ and raised in Levittown, Kate was a resident of Allentown for the past 7 years.

She was a 2001 graduate of Neshaminy High School and a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.

Since 2007, Kate was a Travel Corporate Counselor for American Express of Allentown .

Kate always had a smile to share. Her kind and amazing wonderful spirit touched everyone.

She loved to travel, enjoyed taking pictures and making crafts. Her homemade Christmas cards will be cherished. Kate's beautiful smile illuminated the world and people around her.

Granddaughter of the late Carolyn and Ed Norris and Arthur and Juliette (Ulrich )Skinner, Kate was the beloved daughter of Jean L. (Sanislo) and Brian A. Skinner and the loving sister of Lizzie Skinner. She will also be sadly missed by her maternal grandparents, Wesley and Diane Sanislo of Sarasota, FL; foster grandmother, Jean Atcheson (and the late Richard) of Princeton; her aunts and uncles, Susan Wolfe (Tim) of Sadsbury, PA; Dr. Kate Skinner of San Francisco, CA; Michael Skinner of NYC; Nick, Steve and Peter Norris; her cousins, BJ, and Jason Cunningham of Coatsville and all their families, and her boyfriend, Kyle Laskowski.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 4, 2013, from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial scholarship fund for Eliizabeth "Lizzie" Skinner, payable to the Kathrine J. Skinner Memorial Fund, TD Bank, 2040 E. Lincoln Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
